What is Para?

Para is an AI colleague for legal teams, made by CaseMark. You hand Para work in email, Microsoft Teams, Slack, meetings or the web app, and Para hands back finished documents. Para was formerly called CaseMark Operator.

Where does Para work?

Email, Microsoft Teams, Slack and the web app, plus a meeting recorder for Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and Webex. Para connects to Clio, Smokeball, Google Drive and Microsoft 365 for documents.

Does Para replace an attorney's judgment?

No. Para does the work between the record and the filing, then tells you what Para found and what it recommends next. Anything that goes to a court or a client goes out under an attorney's name.

How is our data protected?

CaseMark is SOC 2 Type II audited and HIPAA compliant. Data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2 in transit. On Pro and Enterprise plans, customer data is never used to train AI models. A BAA is available with annual Pro and Enterprise.

What does it cost?

Standard is $20 and Pro is $100 per seat each month. Every seat fee is credited to your usage wallet, so usage is included, and additional usage is billed at cost. Enterprise is priced by agreement.
