Anchored to the claim file
Every answer traces back to a record page, a deposition page-line, or a cited authority, not a model's guess. The file is the source of truth.
Defense panels face more work than people to do it: sustained demand, a tightening talent pipeline, and clients asking for faster turnaround at lower cost, while the AI tools that promise relief carry real privilege risk. CaseMark is a closed, approved-tool platform built for attorney-directed work, so juniors spend their hours on defense strategy instead of drafting chronologies.

“Attorneys joining us from big firms had used CoCounsel and Harvey. They said CaseMark knocks it out of the park compared to what they were using.”

Why CaseMark
Every answer traces back to a record page, a deposition page-line, or a cited authority, not a model's guess. The file is the source of truth.
Hover citations, quote verification signals, and one-click source previews. Attorney review is the workflow, not an afterthought.
Treatment chronologies, deposition indexes, discovery audits, and status reporting: repeatable, structured output for med-mal practice.
Roles, per-user AI spend caps, approved-model preferences, and org isolation. Customer data is never used to train models.
The work, and the guardrails
Gap-free treatment chronologies across voluminous clinical records: first complaints, treatment gaps, and imaging findings, each cited to its source page.
Structured summaries and indexes with hyperlinked page-line citations, so key admissions are locatable at trial.
Discovery summaries, missing-response identification, and support for motions to compel. Pre-mediation document dumps worked against short demand deadlines: first drafts inside word maximums, plus oral-argument prep grounded in the record.
Case chronologies, billing summaries, carrier status reports, and file-transfer inventories. The unbillable work, compressed.
Multi-phase research across opinions, statutes, and regulations. Define extraction columns in plain English and run them across selected records, every value auditable.
A closed system that fits firm AI policy: approved-platform designation, no confidences in public tools, citation verification, required attorney review.
Custom Curi skills
For the reporting and analysis panel firms run every week, CaseMark ships vetted skills tuned to Curi. Custom MPL claims-triage skills auto-populate Curi's standard reporting templates, with sensitive data staying inside a compliant ecosystem. Opting in is the firm's choice: a vetted option, not an obligation.
Enable Curi skillsInitial, interim, and pre-trial reports drafted into Curi's templates for counsel to finalize.
Cited chronologies formatted for submission, reimbursed by Curi at the discounted rate.
Status reporting and expert-request skills for the recurring work, structured for review.
Ethics, confidentiality & privilege
ABA Model Rule 1.1 requires lawyers to stay abreast of relevant technology. A firm AI policy should require approved closed systems, no confidences in public tools, and attorney review of every output.
In United States v. Heppner (S.D.N.Y. 2026), drafts made with a consumer chatbot were held neither privileged nor work product. Protection turned on attorney direction, the use CaseMark is built for. No court has declared enterprise AI privilege-safe; Heppner left that open.
Aligned with Curi's AI billing standards
Curi's standards (effective January 1, 2027) hold that AI may assist the work while judgment, verification, and accountability stay with defense counsel, and that AI should reduce, not increase, overall billing. CaseMark is built to produce exactly the reviewable, cited output those standards call for.
Review and validate AI-generated medical chronology; verify against records; correct dates and add treatment analysis (500 pages) (1.0 hrs).
CaseMark cites every entry to its source page, so the review is fast and the time is billable.
Generate medical chronology using AI software (4.0 hrs).
Generating a draft is clerical. CaseMark does that step so counsel's billed time is analysis, not production.

From a Curi panel firm
“We can actually now spend, by using something like this, more substantive time on analysis, thinking about our case instead of running from pillar to post like a gerbil doing reports.”
