Our story

CaseMark was founded in June 2023 in Portland, Oregon by serial entrepreneurs Scott Kveton and Steven Osborn. Scott’s wife is a trial attorney, and he saw first hand the challenges and inefficiencies in the legal practice when it comes to large volumes of legal documents and data.

He knew that AI could be a game-changer in addressing the legal support burden that impacts most attorneys, especially at small law firms to midsize law firms. Many legal professionals struggle with document management, document creation, and document assembly, taking valuable time away from serving clients and focusing on legal strategy. He envisioned a future where legal document automation could streamline these processes, reduce errors, and empower lawyers to achieve more.
